Welcome to AWT Cheer

Sideline Cheer

A non-competition team focused on fun, fitness, and skills that last — cheers, dance, tumbling and routines.

About the program

Spirit with purpose

As members of Pop Warner Little Scholars and Bux-Mont, our cheer program is part of a national nonprofit tradition offering opportunities for athletes at every skill level.

Our cheerleaders support our youth football teams, with most games on Saturdays (occasionally Friday nights and Sundays) and some local travel. Along the way they build friendships, teamwork, self-discipline, sportsmanship and perseverance.

During the season, cheerleaders cheer 8–10 games, join the Wissahickon HS cheer team for Youth Night, and perform a routine at the Bux-Mont Exhibition Showcase in October.
